To solve this issue either change voice room manually or disconnect before pressing 'connect' in the dialogue box that opens automatically.Īll you have to do is to open X-plane, then open X-ivap and as soon you set up the COM (del/grd/twr, whatever.) frequency the Teamspeex open. Trying to connect to the new voice server while still connected to the old one will cause TeamSpeex to crash. Switching frequency will only bring up the TeamSpeex connection dialogue. Using voice on the ATC communication using a Mac platform and X-plane all you have to use is TEAMSPEEX. Nevertheless, the Germans on IVAO made a nice informative page for mac-users, and it says some info about Teamspeex, (nobody talks about Teamsquawk): The devops of IVAO directed me to:, so I ended up in: (=broken link) ? I'm sorry to disappoint.maybe I have to sleep over a little. I see plenty of Mac users flying on Ivao. No please don't give up, there must be a solution.

So I go offline and vanilla practicing some patterns with the Cessna. I don't know why it works for you and not for me.it has been three weeks since I actually did a successful flight. (see image above) After this event you can never open Teamsquawk again."Īlso: Once this happens I have a spinning wheel and it just get stuck.

" Teamsquawk → will open once a while after new download and install.when changing/switching to another frequency it thinks I want to login twice and you cannot establish any connection anymore. So you never had the "Already logged in"-message, and after that CTD's? Are you on Mojave? Well, it is searching for a needle in a haysteck.

Yes, I had push to talk and even the sound nicely divided etc. Just make sure the dog is not barking, the wife is not yelling, or the kids are not playing their tunes, because everyone on the channel will hear it!įor me Teamsquawk did not work well, as stated three posts above. Check out your IVAO community as they might have one set up (there is one for Switzerland). On TeamSpeak, regardless of the version, there are also some “open” channels for “free-style” discussions that are not ATC related, so you can run both and talk to your buddies without interfering with ATC. I would have never come across this if it wasn’t for a gracious air traffic controller that helped me during a “quiet” time at LSGG. The main thing is to assign a push-to-talk key on your keyboard. It does have its shortcomings, such as tuning to the right frequency (pull down menu on the background), but in general it works great.
#Teamspeak for mac for mac
My humble contribution as a Mac user: I struggled with this for a while, mainly because TeamSpeak for Mac is version 3.2 when IVAO states that only v 2.0 works with the UI. When done flying - find the TeemSpeex window, disconnect and quit. TeemSpeex pops "Connect to Server", select Cancel (See available ATC and Unicom on right side)Ĭlick on Unicom, "Connect To Server" will pop up, (TeamSpeex will start with warning - click open) Use IVAO WebEye to find what server are the desired ATC using. It starts automatically, with X-Plane, but the auto server select and auto channel switching does not work, so really awkward to use: THIS IS NOT A GOOD SOLUTION - BUT IT DOES WORK SORTA: I am not sure about the release date but it is version 1.0 beta-r408 - maybe it is from 2009, but it is working.
